This is the coffee that started it all. It's the coffee that's fueling the First Turning. Smooth and sweet, this is the coffee that fuels me (Otis Bitmeyer) and my friends as we build the world of our dreams. Sound grandiose? Someone's got to do it.

SOUND COFFEE is currently a mixture of Caturra and Bourbon varietals grown in the Huehuetenango region of Guatemala by Arcenio Villatoro and imported by my friend Candace, who specializes in sourcing excellent coffees from small producers. I roast for sweetness and balance, which yields a cup that (I think) is delicious in a wide variety of brewing methods, and a comforting companion no matter which turning you find yourself.
